Travis Kelce Gets Injured In Game That Taylor Swift Skipped But Still Helps Chiefs Win Game
Taylor Swift took a break from attending Travis Kelce’s football game. The 33-year-old singer was confirmed by NFL announcers to not be in Minneapolis for the Kansas City Chiefs vs the Minnesota Vikings game shortly after kickoff on Oct. 8. During Sunday’s game, the 34-year-old tight end wound up hurting his ankle after he slipped on the turf. Travis limped off the field, but he got back out there halfway through the third quarter and shook off his injury as he wound up scoring a touchdown against the Vikings. Taylor spent the previous two Sundays in the stands watching the NFL star play after weeks of dating rumors circulated about them. On Sept. 24, Taylor went out to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City to watch Travis play for the first time alongside his mom, Donna Kelce. Just one week later on Oct. 1, the “Bejeweled” songstress once again rooted for the Kansas City Chiefs while they beat the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
