Blake Shelton Brings Gwen Stefani To Tears With Emotional Hollywood Walk Of Fame Ceremony Speech
Blake Shelton sure knows how to make his wife, Gwen Stefani, feel special! The country crooner brought “The Voice” coach to tears on Thursday while delivering a heartfelt speech during her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. In his speech, the 47-year-old singer reflected on the first time he met her in 2014 and praised her for being a great mother. “It was clear to me that she was a mother first and foremost over anything else in the world, that was her number one job,” Blake said. “Now standing here almost 10 years later, after I first met her, I can say without question that being a mother is still the most important thing in her life and I got to tell y’all that’s rare in this business.” The “God’s Country” singer then gushed over his love and her talent as a singer. “From music, television and movies to fashion and beauty she has risen to the top over and over again with her unique style that has made the world fall in love with her. Not as much as me though,” he said. The speech was so moving that after Blake wrapped, Gwen gave him a hug and said, “why you gotta make me cry.” Gwen was the latest A-lister to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her star will be located next to Amoeba Music on Hollywood Boulevard.
