Ana Barbosu Will Receive Disputed Bronze Medal From Jordan Chiles In Upcoming Ceremony

A ceremony has been set to present Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu the bronze medal that was originally awarded to Jordan Chiles. The Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee announced on Aug. 13, the 18-year-old will receive the award in a ceremony in Bucharest on Friday, Aug. 16. Per USA Gymnastics, the Court of Arbitration for Sport said the rules do not allow for reconsideration despite the alleged existence of video proving Jordan Chiles coach submitted the inquiry by the deadline. “Know that we are still working full-time to pursue justice for Jordan,” said USA Gymnastic officials on X.
