Kate Middleton Reveals She’s in Remission After Visit To Hospital Where She Received Treatment
Kate Middleton has revealed that she is in remission. On Tuesday, Jan. 14, the Princess of Wales visited the Royal Marsden Hospital in London where she had undergone chemotherapy and personally thanked the medics for their support and care. During her emotional visit, the 43-year-old also met with patients who are currently undergoing treatment. After her outing, the Princess announced on social media that she is in remission and remains focused on her recovery. She continued, “As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.” Elsewhere in her statement, the royal announced that she and her husband Prince William have become joint patrons of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. Kate’s visit reportedly marked her first solo trip since returning to official royal duties. The Princess of Wales had announced her cancer diagnosis in a video message back in March of 2024. In September of the same year, she released another video in which she shared that she had completed chemotherapy and is “cancer free.”
