Jay Leno Brings Own Fire Truck To Feed LA First Responders

As wildfires continue to burn across Los Angeles several celebrities are doing everything to help the communities get through this disaster. As Jenna Bush Hager’s “Today” show co-host Eva Longoria gave some passionate perspective. “The thing that’s irritating is like, ‘Oh, rich celebrities homes are burning, Los Angeles is a working class city, it’s a union town. We keep talking about the Pacific Palisades fire, the Altadena, Pasadena fires is a huge community of color,” she said. Another celebrity helping Los Angeles, Jay Leno. The comedian told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that he drove his 1941 firetruck to help provide food for first responders. Jimmy Kimmel emotionally returned to his talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for the first time since the fires began on Jan. 7. “We had to evacuate on Wednesday,” he said. “Many of us had to leave our homes in a hurry. Some of our coworkers lost their homes. It’s been terrible.” As of Jan. 14, the Palisades Fire is at 23,713 acres and is 18 percent contained, while the Eaton Fire is 14,117 acres and is 35 percent contained.
