Track & Field Runner Alice Finot Proposes To Boyfriend After Breaking Record at Paris Olympics

French athlete Alice Finot broke a record at the 2024 Paris Olympics and celebrated the moment by proposing to her longtime boyfriend. The runner competed in the women’s 3000m steeplechase on Tuesday, Aug. 6. While she did not win a medal she has plenty to celebrate. Finot broke the European women’s record and was in the top 4 women who for the first time ever broke 9 minutes in the race. After the record-breaking moment, Finot ran over to her boyfriend, Spanish Triathlete Bruno Martinez Bargiela and got down on one knee to propose.
