Sam Heughan Says Full Frontal Scene In ‘Outlander’ Made Him Feel ‘Betrayed’ By Creative Team
Sam Heughan is opening up about how going full-frontal on “Outlander” left him feeling “betrayed.” In his new memoir, “Waypoints: My Scottish Journey,” the 42-year-old actor talks about being pushed to do a full-frontal nude scene at the end of Season One of the series, after his character, Jamie Fraser, gets sexually assaulted by Tobias Menzes’ character, Frank Randall. Sam wrote that he fought to nix the scene, but the creative team pushed back, which made him feel “betrayed.”
