Ryan Reynolds Commends Hugh Jackman’s Training For ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’: ‘He Sets A ‘High Bar’

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s movie “Deadpool & Wolverine” is expected to be a smash at the box office, with Rotten Tomatoes calling it a “bloody hilarious good time.” Hugh and Ryan first worked together on the 2009 film “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” and that’s where they tell Access Hollywood guest correspondent Emily Orozco where they first became “best buds,” developing a “real friendship” that’s only gotten “deeper” over the years. They also discussed the film, with Ryan commending Hugh’s commitment to training for the action scenes. “What he’s done, it’s remarkable … I was in the gym with him, so I see the discipline. For him, he sets a really high bar,” he said. “Deadpool & Wolverine” hits theaters July 26.
