Demi Lovato, Drew Barrymore & More Share Shocking Revelations About Young Fame In ‘Child Star’ Doc

The teaser trailer for Demi Lovato’s documentary “Child Star” dropped on Sept. 5 and includes shocking revelations from several celebrities who found fame at a young age. Drew Barrymore, who achieved stardom as a child actress with her breakout role in “E.T.” recalls being exposed to substances at just 10 years old. Demi also shares how she was bullied by some of her childhood peers, saying she was the subject of a “suicide petition” that classmates signed. Christina Ricci, Kenan Thompson and Jojo Siwa are among the other stars Lovato speaks with. The documentary marks the singer’s directorial debut with Nicola Marsh co-directing. “Child Star” is out on Hulu Sept. 17.
