Britney Spears Says She ‘Had No Idea’ Who J Balvin & Maluma Were Before Meeting Them In NYC

Don’t hold it against her! Britney Spears is sharing more about her unexpected meeting with J Balvin and Maluma in New York City. On Thursday, Maluma shared a photo of himself with the “Mi Gente” and “Toxic” singers and captioned it, “Who is like me in love” in Spanish. The trio, who were reportedly out to dinner in the snap, took the internet by storm with fans commenting “Omg dream team!” and “iconic.” Now, Britney is seemingly admitting she wasn’t familiar with the popular musicians before their night out in New York. “Quick trip to NY … I had no idea who these boys were at this restaurant!!! #TheWomanInMe,” she wrote in the caption of her own post later that day. Although Brit did not clarify if she was joking or not, she did tag both J Balvin and Maluma. The “Circus” songstress also shared a video of herself driving through Manhattan and a photo posing with music manager, Grace Archuleta. Brit did not specify why she was in the big apple, but did hashtag the title of her upcoming memoir, “The Woman In Me” in the post.
