TikTok’s LaBrant Family Faces Backlash For Using Diddy Song In Dancing Video After His Arrest

The LaBrant family is facing backlash once again – this time for using a popular song by Sean “Diddy” Combs days after his arrest. On Sept. 20, Cole LaBrant posted a video to Instagram and TikTok with his 11-year-old stepdaughter, Everleigh Rose, dancing to the rapper’s 1997 hit with Faith Evans and 112, “I’ll Be Missing You.” The 28-year-old captioned the post, “How we feel while on Vacay #DadDaughter.” Social media users expressed outrage in the comments over the song choice since Diddy had just been arrested in New York a few days prior on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment. “Why this song during the Diddy scandal!?! With a kid in the video,” one person commented on Instagram. However, some people overlooked the music, leaving positive words for the stepdaughter-father duo. “Her face and energy [is] just so cute and fun!! You guys are awesome,” one person commented on Instagram, which was “liked” by Cole.
