TikToker Hannah Hiatt is responding to some allegations against her family. The influencer addressed allegations of mistreatment against her toddler son James in a new video posted to TikTok last week, blasting comparisons to Ruby Franke, who is currently serving time in prison on child abuse charges. “To be compared, right now, to Ruby Franke is absolutely comical,” she said. “It’s hilarious, really. We live in a world nowadays where people will turn nothing into something.” The backlash started over a since-deleted clip where, according to E! News, her son, James, is reportedly sitting in a grocery cart; as her husband walks towards the boy, he throws his hands over his face. Access Hollywood has not independently verified the video, but many TikTok users commented on the clip, reportedly expressing concern alleging that James was scared of Hannah and her husband. But in her TikTok video, she assured fans her family is fine and her kids are healthy. “They’re healthy, well-nourished. They’re running around playing. That should be a pretty good indicator that everything’s just fine,” she said.
