Simu Liu Would Be Down To Join Ryan Gosling In Potential ‘I’m Just Ken’ Performance At 2024 Oscars

Simu Liu is gearing up to host the People’s Choice Awards for the very first time this Sunday! The actor told Access Hollywood about his excitement for the gig and weighed in on what makes this year’s honorees so special. Plus, he shared that if Ryan Gosling was tapped to perform their “Barbie” song “I’m Just Ken” at the Oscars, he’d be open to joining him onstage! “He’s my boy. I hope, you know, if he feels up to it, I know that he’ll do a good job without any help. But if he wants someone in the background Kenning it up with him, then I know he’s got me, he’s got Scott [Evans], he’s got Ncuti [Gatwa] and Kingsley [Ben-Adir] all in his corner and ready to bring the Kenergy,” he said. However, he joked he wouldn’t wax his legs again to do so, calling doing so for the movie “one of the most painful experiences of my life.” The 2024 People’s Choice Awards air Feb. 18 at 8/7c on NBC, E! and Peacock.
