Shannen Doherty appeared alongside her co-stars for a rare public reunion at 90s Con in Tampa on Sept. 17, where she received heartwarming support from not only the cast but also the crowd amid her Stage 4 cancer battle. Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Gabrielle Carteris, Ian Ziering and Brian Austin Green joined the audience in a standing ovation for Shannen, who has long been open about her health journey including the most recent news that her illness has spread to her brain. Attendees cheered for the actress, who wiped tears while sharing after the panel that she’s used to getting emotional these days. “Thank you so much. You guys know how much I love crying constantly. And I do, it seems. So, thank you,” she said, adding that she thinks she’s doing “really great” while fighting for her life “every day.”
