Mandy Moore, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Mindy Kaling & More React To WGA Tentative Agreement To End Strike
Mandy Moore, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Mindy Kaling and more stars are reacting to the news that the Writers Guild of America has reached a tentative deal with Hollywood studios. On Sunday, representatives for the union announced the update. “We have reached a tentative agreement on a new 2023 MBA, which is to say an agreement in principle on all deal points, subject to drafting final contract language,” a statement to members said. “What we have won in this contract – most particularly, everything we have gained since May 2nd – is due to the willingness of this membership to exercise its power, to demonstrate its solidarity, to walk side-by-side, to endure the pain and uncertainty of the past 146 days.” Mindy Kaling celebrated the decision on Instagram with a meme from her former show “The Office.” “TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BITCHES! CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK TO WORK AND SEE MY PEOPLE!!! (thank you @wgawest!)” she said. Sheryl Lee Ralph also responded to the plans on X, formerly known as Twitter, and Mandy Moore took to Instagram to share her feelings on the tentative deal.
