Man Arrested For Throwing Eggs At King Charles & Queen Camilla During Royal Outing

It was far from an “egg-cellent” royal outing today for King Charles and Queen Camilla. The royal couple had several eggs thrown at them while they were walking around York on Wednesday. The king’s personal protection officers formed a close shield behind him as the culprit threw eggs at the monarchs. The North Yorkshire Police arrested a 23-year-old man and he is still currently in police custody. The royals are in York to unveil a statue dedicated to the monarch’s late mother, Queen Elizabeth.
