Hoda Kotb Bids Tearful ‘Today’ Show Farewell: ‘From the Bottom of My Heart, Thank You’

Hoda Kotb is saying farewell to the “Today” show. After 26 years with nbc, the 60-year-old journalist signed off from the hit morning show on Friday morning and her co-anchors and producers made sure it was a memorable show. Access Hollywood’s Emily Orozco chatted with Hoda on her final day on the morning show and she shared how she was feeling about her exit, sharing, “I thought I was going to need medicine to keep it together because I was literally losing it. And I thought to myself, when I first saw Savannah (Guthrie) this morning, when I first came to the Plaza and saw all the people standing outside who were still here, I mean, it was everything to me.” Hoda also said that it was time to get a puppy for her daughters, Haley Joy and Hope Catherine.
