“Breaking Bad” Actor Mark Margolis Dead At 83
“Breaking Bad” alum Mark Margolis has died. He was 83. Mark’s son Knitting Factory CEO Morgan Margolis shared a statement with NBC News revealing the tragic news. “Mr. Mark Margolis passed away on Thursday at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City following a short illness. He was 83. Morgan Margolis and Mark’s wife Jacqueline were at his bedside at the time of death,” the statement read. No further details were given surrounding his death. Mark was married to his wife Jacqueline for 61 years. The actor is also survived by his son’s wife Heide, their three sons, his brother Jerome and sister-in-law, Ann. Mark was best known for his role as Hector “Tio” Salamanca in “Breaking Bad,” which earned him an Emmy nomination in 2012. He later reprised the role in the spinoff “Better Call Saul,” guest starring in seasons 2 through 6.
