Angelina Jolie Stops To Chat With Bedridden Fan In Heartwarming Venice Film Festival Moment

Angelina Jolie’s glamorous night at the Venice Film Festival turned emotional when she stopped on the red carpet to greet a bedridden fan. The Oscar winner was seen chatting with a person identified as Italian writer Pasqualino Esposito, who is said to have a rare bone disorder. Esposito has reportedly attended the event multiple times and arrived on Aug. 29 in a portable medical bed. Photos and video from the evening show Jolie kneeling in her gown to have a brief conversation with Esposito. He spoke with The Hollywood Reporter through a translator after the encounter and called the A-lister a “fantastic” person with “a very big heart.” Jolie was on hand to celebrate the premiere of her Maria Callas biopic, which received a reported eight-minute standing ovation – moving the mom of six to tears inside the theater, according to video from multiple outlets including Deadline.
