If Russell Brand appeared a little flustered at MTV’s Video Music Awards this past weekend, blame Pink.
Russell revealed to Britain’s Mirror newspaper that the day before the awards show, he was filming the movie “Get Him to the Greek,” which paired him with Pink and two other major pop stars in steamy, comical clinches.
“I had to film three scenes with Pink, Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry,” Russell told the Mirror. “It was amazing.”
Russell revealed he shared a smooch with two of the stars – Katy and Pink – the latter to whom he took a particular fancy.
“I’ve got a soft spot for Pink and I had to kiss her. We have this scene where we are walking down the road snogging and then I have to be sick,” he said.
“When I was kissing Pink I was thinking, this isn’t work,” he continued. “Those kisses were unprofessional. I quite enjoyed that.”
His scene with “I Kissed A Girl” singer Katy was also enjoyable for the British stand up comic.
“In the scene with Katy Perry, who is really charming, we are on a balcony of a hotel in Rome berating the paparazzi below, kissing and then I wee out of the window,” he said.
But sadly for the former “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” star, Christina’s lips were not to be touched.
“I didn’t kiss Christina but she is a living doll,” he said.
According to IMDB, Brand plays the character of Aldous Snow in the film – the same character he played in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.”
