Zooey Deschanel Has Only Seen ‘Elf’ Once: ‘I Just Don’t Really Like Watching Myself’

Zooey Deschanel was one of the many A-list attendees at Elle’s 2023 Women in Hollywood celebration, and she spoke to Access Hollywood about what it meant to be a part of such a special event. She also looked back on 20 years of her holiday classic “Elf” and shared that she hasn’t rewatched it as much as the rest of us have! “I actually have only seen it once … I just don’t really like watching myself that much, so I haven’t really seen it, but I know it’s a good movie,” she said. Zooey added that fiancé Jonathan Scott “loves the movie” and her kids have seen it once. “They were a little young, so hopefully this is the year that they’re excited to watch it.” Plus, Zooey weighed in on the possibility of a future “New Girl” revival, saying she’s “always down” for more.
