Zendaya Responds To D.A.R.E. Claiming Euphoria ‘Glorifies’ Teen Drug And Alcohol Use
Zendaya is defending her HBO Max hit show “Euphoria.” The 25-year-old Emmy winner responded to D.A.R.E. condemning the show for glorifying teen drug use and addiction while speaking to Entertainment Weekly ahead of Sunday’s new episode. “Our show is in no way a moral tale to teach people how to live their life or what they should be doing,” she said in part. In Sunday’s emotional episode Zendaya’s character, Rue, faced an intervention and dealt with drug withdrawal. Ahead of the fifth episode the actress shared on Instagram what she hopes viewers will get from watching the show.
