Zayn Malik Says Daughter Khai Has Brought ‘Color’ Back Into His Life In ‘Call Her Daddy’ Teaser

Zayn is opening up like never before! The 30-year-old singer is the next guest on Alex Cooper’s Spotify podcast “Call Her Daddy” and he got candid about his personal life, including fatherhood! In the teaser for the episode, the former One Direction member explained why he has been out of the spotlight for six years. “I feel like we were so over exposed in the band. That’s why I’ve took the time I have to like not even necessarily do interviews,” he said. Zayn also touched on being a dad, crediting his two-year-old daughter, Khai, for motivating him to do things that are out of his comfort zone. “Since I’ve had my daughter, the main thing in my mind is trying to be a good example to her. That’s why I’m even doing this interview,” he said. The “Pillow Talk” singer also admitted his little girl adds color to his life. “I feel like we get to a certain point in adult life where everything is kind of vague, and gray and boring and she’s brought that color back for me,” he said. Zayn’s “Call Her Daddy” episode will drop on July 12.
