Zac Efron, Sophie Turner, Jamie Lee Curtis & More Stars Celebrate Historic SAG-AFTRA Strike Ending
The historic SAG-AFTRA strike is coming to an end! On Wednesday it was announced that the union had reached a tentative agreement with studios, promoting a slew of celebrations from Hollywood’s biggest stars. Jeremey Allen White celebrated the news in real time with Access Hollywood while at the SAG-approved premiere for his latest film “The Iron Claw.” His co-star, Zac Efron, also shared in the excitement while speaking to Deadline on the red carpet. They weren’t the only celebrities weighing in on the long-awaited decision following 118 days of striking. “PERSEVERANCE PAYS OFF! @sagaftra,” Jamie Lee Curtis wrote on Instagram. “Strike Over!!! Thank you @sagaftra,” Hilary Duff wrote on her social media. “Thank you @sagaftra negotiators and leadership for getting us over the finish line!!! Gratitude is the attitude!! And grateful to all those who walked the walked (picketers, strike captains, Our fellow union brothers and sisters, etc,” Mandy Moore said. Many others seemingly showed their support by reposting SAG-AFTRA’s announcement on Instagram, including Sophie Turner, Ariana Grande and Cole Sprouse.
