Why Timothée Chalamet Got Fined $79 For Riding Bike To ‘A Complete Unknown’ London Premiere

Stars – they’re just like us! After Timothée Chalamet tried to beat traffic and opted to ride a bike to get to the London premiere of his film “A Complete Unknown,” the actor revealed that he got slapped with a fine. While doing an appearance on French talk show “Quotidien” on Wednesday, the 29-year-old explained that he received a $79 or £65 fine because he did not park the bike properly. “There was a traffic jam, and I actually wasn’t allowed to park there,” he said in French, reportedly adding, “And actually it’s horrible because it was an advert for them.” The “Dune” star’s mode of transportation went viral after photographs were published of him arriving to the red carpet on a bright lime bike, even posing alongside it for a few shots. The London premiere of “A Complete Unknown” took place on Jan. 14, followed by the Paris premiere the following day.
