Wendy Williams Seen For First Time In Public In A Year After Aphasia & Dementia Diagnosis

Wendy Williams was photographed in public for the first time in over a year. The former talk show host was seen with her son, Kevin Hunt Jr., at Bolingo Balance in Newark, NJ on Aug. 19. The store shared a picture of Wendy posing with an employee on Instagram earlier this month, marking the first time she has been spotted out since March 2023. Page Six was the first to report the encounter. An employee at the shop told the outlet Wendy was, “sharp, upbeat and aware” and “very bubbly” during the visit. In the store’s Instagram post they wrote, “Much love to Wendy Williams and her son. I remember when I met Kevin in Usha village, my dad told me I want you to meet Wendy’s son.” Wendy was last publicly seen in March 2023 when she was photographed returning to her apartment in New York City. The 60-year-old has lived a private life for years but in February she released a statement thanking fans for their support after revealing she had been diagnosed with Aphasia and Frontotemporal Dementia.
