UnitedHealth CEO Brian Thompson Fatally Shot In ‘Brazen, Targeted Attack,’ Police Say

Police are sharing an update in the fatal shooting of UnitedHealth CEO Brian Thompson. NYPD commissioner Jessica Tisch briefed reporters in a press conference hours after Thompson, 50, was killed outside a hotel in Midtown Manhattan before 7 a.m. on Dec. 4. Tisch described the incident as a “brazen, targeted attack” and said a manhunt is underway for the suspected shooter, who fled the scene.
