Taylor Swift Reflects On Having Control Of Her Artistry In Resurfaced 2010 ‘Speak Now’ Interview

Taylor Swift is reflecting on being in control of her own destiny in a throwback interview with Access Hollywood from 2010. “I love living that way, where you have control over everything that happens creatively and artistically, like putting a tour together and knowing that you had a hand in every decision that was made. Everything from the way the trucks are wrapped to the way the stage looks to every single cue of the curtains. I live for that, I just love it,” she explained. On July 7, 2023, Taylor released her lasted re-recorded album “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” and back when she was promoting the original, she reflected on writing songs that were so personal to her. “I don’t think I would be able to tell a partial story or a very general version of ‘this is what happened’ it’s just part of it for me, that’s part of why I love it,” she shared.
