Shelley Duvall, the wide-eyed actress best known for her work in “The Shining” and multiple Robert Altman films including “Nashville,” has died. She was 75. The performer passed away in her sleep at home in Texas on July 11 following complications from diabetes, her longtime partner Dan Gilroy confirmed to multiple outlets. “She’s gone after much suffering, which I guess is a good thing, which after 34 years… I can’t tell you how much I miss her,” Gilroy told NBC News.
