Selena Gomez Admits She Turns To Her 10-Year-OId Sister Grace For Advice: ‘She Is Very Wise’

Selena Gomez is getting honest about who she turns to for advice. On Oct. 10, the “Single Soon” singer marked World Mental Health Day by answering questions with Wondermind, the mental health platform she co-founded. During the candid Q&A, Selena opened up about what her favorite thing to do when she takes a mental health day is. “Spending time with my little sister, Gracie. She’s so innocent and pure,” she said before revealing it’s her younger sis who gives her sound advice, despite being a pre-teen. “She helps me keep perspective on life. It’s funny because she’s 10; I am 31, and even with such a big age gap I love her advice. She is very wise.” The “Only Murders In The Building” star went on to share what has made the biggest impact on her mental health journey. “When I decided to be open about my mental health, people began to reach out and share their stories. Listening and connecting was the biggest gift because you feel less alone,” she explained. Selena remains an advocate for mental health awareness and even admits that she is still working on herself. “I am not going to pretend I have it all figured out and I think it’s always going to be a work in progress. You have to learn to make the choices that are best for you,” she proclaimed.
