See John Legend’s Reaction When He Meets Lookalike Singer Talakai During ‘The Voice’ Blind Auditions

John Legend was seeing double when he met Talakai at “The Voice’s” blind auditions! The reality show contestant belted out Sam Smith’s hit song “Stay with Me” during the blinds and immediately got the Grammy winner to turn his chair. Once John saw Talakai he was in for a treat! “I’m looking at myself. Like a taller more handsome version of myself,” John said during the audition. He isn’t the only one who sees the resemblance, Talakai told Access he has been told he looks like John for years! “I couldn’t believe he was saying that because just going back to hearing it growing up all the time. “Hearing him actually say it, it was literally like a full-circle moment,” Talakai said. Success is particularly sweet for the 34-year-old Sacramento based singer who had a difficult childhood in and out of 10 foster homes. Talakai eventually met his foster mom Lisa after a talent show one night in high school. Season 24 of “The Voice” airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and the following day on Peacock.
