Sam Heughan And Caitriona Balfe Reveal Favorite Memory From Shooting ‘Outlander’ Season 7

Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe have one word to describe Season 7 of “Outlander”: epic! The upcoming season picks up right where they left off, with Jamie and Claire Fraser separated once again. “Claire is in jail. It’s a very precarious situation, but Jamie is trying to rescue her but maybe it isn’t Jamie that comes to her rescue this time,” Caitriona told Access Hollywood. Although this season is full of twists and turns, there were some lighthearted moments on set, particularly one involving Sam’s horse Sleepy. “He had eaten something that didn’t agree with him,” Sam told Access. “And he painted the back of our costumes with remnants of what that had been,” Caitriona added. The hit Starz show will wrap up after Season 8, and there is one person Sam thinks would be a good guest star, his “Love Again” co-star Priyanka Chopra. “She would be great. I don’t know if she’s watched it, but I’m sure she has. She’s a wonderful co-star,” he said. Season 7 of “Outlander” debuts Friday, June 16 on the STARZ app, all STARZ streaming and on-demand platform.
