Rebecca Gayheart Breaks Silence on Eric Dane’s Death: ‘Difficult Time’

Rebecca Gayheart is speaking out following the death of her husband Eric Dane. On Sunday, Feb. 22, the actress took to her Instagram stories to express her gratitude for the support she’s received since the “Grey’s Anatomy” star passed. “I am so blown away by the outpouring of love and support from our community. There aren’t words to express our gratitude. You are truly holding us up during this difficult time,” she wrote in a slide above picture frames featuring the actor and his family. Gayheart and Dane share two daughters, Billie, 15, and Georgia, 14. The pair married in 2004, but have been separated for eight years. Dane died on Thursday, Feb. 19 amid his battle with ALS. He was 53.
