Oprah Winfrey is ready to welcome new members into her iconic book club! The 69-year-old media mogul walked into a Barnes & Noble over the weekend to buy some patrons her most recent book rec, “The Covenant of Water” by Abraham Verghese. The former talk show host shared the funny moment on Instagram and captioned her video, “My mission this summer is to make sure everyone is reading my latest @oprahsbookclub pick, “The Covenant of Water” by Abraham Verghese. First step: Seeing if my local bookstore had copies. Now I need to get them into the hands of readers.
