Nicole Kidman Responds To Olivia Rodrigo’s TikTok Parody Of Her AMC Theaters Ad

Nicole Kidman is getting a kick out of Olivia Rodrigo’s humor! The pop star, 21, took to her TikTok on Mar. 26 to share a funny video of herself getting ready to take the stage in Montreal for her Guts Tour, and she used the actress’ iconic AMC Theaters ad voice over. Nicole responded to Olivia’s video by reposting it to her Instagram story and penning: “You just won me some major points with my girls! Adore you, @oliviarodrigo xx,” referring to her daughters, Sunday, 15, and Faith, 13. The “Expats” star created the ad with AMC in 2021. Nicole opened up in a new interview for Elle’s April 2024 Impact issue, and she revealed why they created the commercial following the pandemic. “It was just the desire to keep cinemas alive. I’ve had the best experiences in cinema. I’d pretend I was going to school; I’d forge a note, and I’d go and sit in a movie theater. That’s a safe haven for me, so the idea of those not existing — that’s just not part of the equation in my lifetime,” she said.
