Michael B. Jordan Reacts To ‘Fruitvale Station’ Interview 10 Years After Breakout Role
What a difference a decade makes! Michael B. Jordan joined Access Daily’s Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover recently and reflected on the 10th anniversary of his breakout role in “Fruitvale Station” and reacted to a throwback Access interview he did for the acclaimed project. “That moment of just figuring out, ‘Am I a lead actor? Can I open a film?’ Yes, I’ve been working in television and stuff like that years prior, but just my career, not knowing but super ambitious, very hungry and willing to work to figure it out. A lot of dreams, 10 years ago. A lot of things that I wanted to achieve and I’ve been fortunate enough to achieve a lot of those dreams thus far and I can’t wait to push it forward and continue to make an impact on people,” Michael said of his outlook at the time. The “Creed III” star and director also shares his excitement for future filmmaking endeavors, a new comic book series about his character’s daughter, Amara Creed, and his new fitness initiative with Propel. And, Michael shares about his close relationship with his parents, especially his mom, and reveals that she still has a tactic to get his attention that makes his “ears go up.” For more information on Propel’s Propel Your City project, visit their website!
