Mauricio Umansky Reveals Why He Avoided Watching ‘RHOBH’ Trailer Amid Kyle Richards Separation

Mauricio Umansky is not hanging up his dancing shoes just yet. “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star was saved from elimination this week, and he is glad he isn’t leaving just yet. “I’m having so much fun dancing. I really feel like a child. It’s so good for my heart right now and it just feels amazing, and I don’t want it to end,” he told Access Hollywood. Mauricio’s appearance on the show comes months after he and wife Kyle Richards announced they are separated. Their marriage troubles are included in the upcoming season of “RHOBH,” but Mauricio admitted to Access he still hasn’t seen the trailer. “I haven’t watched the trailer. I knew it was going to be high drama,” he said. “I knew they were dramatizing the whole situation and talking about it and making it ‘Housewives’ drama. I know it dropped today, and I didn’t want to watch it, because I didn’t want [it to affect] my mindset.” He also told Access where he currently stands with Kyle, confirming they are indeed separated and “struggling” but are working on their marriage. As for their next steps, he is still unsure. “We’re not in a rush to figure it out. We don’t know. We’re going to work on it. When the time is right, we will know, and I guess you guys will also know,” he said. “Dancing with the Stars” airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC.
