Matt Damon & Ben Affleck Are ‘Proud’ Of Their Daughters As They Go To College: It’s ‘Bittersweet’
Matt Damon’s latest film, “The Instigators,” was a family affair! The project marks the first film his wife, Luciana Barroso, has been credited as an executive producer and they had their entire family’s support at the New York premiere, including their daughters. Matt is seemingly trying to spend as much time with his family this summer before one of his little girls goes off to college. While chatting with Access Hollywood he revealed he’s talked to his good friend and “The Instigators” producer Ben Affleck about the upcoming milestone. “I don’t know if bonded is the word but commiserated maybe,” he said. “Yeah, it’s another incredible, profound, step change in both of our lives that we share in common, and we’ve had a bunch of those over the last 43 years and this is yet another one. But it’s been bittersweet. We’re so proud of these two young women and they’re incredible. This is what’s supposed to happen,” he added. Matt also briefly discussed another project he has coming up with Ben, “Unstoppable” which stars Jennifer Lopez. “The Instigators” will debut in select theaters Aug. 2 before its global premiere on Apple TV+ Aug. 9.
