Malia Obama Gets Career Advice From Mentor Donald Glover Ahead Of Her First Short Film
Malia Obama’s Hollywood career just took a major step forward! The former First Daughter is developing her first short film with mentor Donald Glover’s production company, Gilga. Donald confirmed the news in a new interview with GQ published this week and revealed the advice he gave his 24-year-old protégé about how to approach the opportunity, especially considering the weight of her family name. “The first thing we did was talk about the fact that she will only get to do this once. You’re Obama’s daughter. So if you make a bad film, it will follow you around,” he recalled.
