Lizzo is speaking out after fans speculated that she used Ozempic to lose weight. The singer took to Instagram on Friday to shut down rumors that she took a popular weight loss medication as she posted a video using a viral TikTok sound with on-screen text that read, “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit.” The video was included in a post with selfies of the singer as well as screenshots of her calling out a user who commented on a previous post,“Did she use Ozempic or did she snort coke.” The Grammy winner then responded to the man, “whyyy do [you] follow me,” before referencing him in the caption of her Instagram carousel, writing, “oZeMpIc oR cOkE? – a fan,” alongside a few crying face emojis. A few days earlier, the 36-year-old showed off her weight loss transformation in a video which she captioned, “Fine both ways.”
