Lisa Marie Presley Sensed Dad Elvis Presley’s Death On That Morning, Riley Keough Shares

Riley Keough is shedding light on how her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley, had sensed that something was off the morning Elvis Presley died. The actress sat down with Oprah Winfrey to discuss the legacy of her famous family, including late grandfather Elvis Presley and late mother, Lisa Marie. Nearly two years after Lisa Marie’s death, Riley has completed her mother’s memoir “From Here To The Great Unknown,” using tapes her mother recorded. Lisa Marie had begun writing her memoir in the years before she passed. In a preview of the sit-down, Riley explains that though Lisa Marie was just a child, she was observant to her father’s behavior. “She would tell me that sometimes she would find him in his bathroom looking kind of out of it or holding onto the railing to stand up straight. She also wrote these letters when she was little that we have, kind of saying, ‘I hope my daddy doesn’t die.’ So, there was some kind of sense there.” “An Oprah Special: The Presleys – Elvis, Lisa Marie and Riley” airs Oct. 8 at 8/7c on CBS.
