Liam Payne’s Letter To His 10-Year-Old Self Resurfaces After Tragic Death: ‘Cherish Every Moment’
A letter Liam Payne wrote to his 10-year-old self has resurfaced in the wake of his death. The singer wrote the message in 2020 for an appearance on BBC Radio 2. “It’s about to get a little bumpy. Cherish every moment with your loved ones right now,” he reads in the clip, speaking to his young self. He goes on to allude to the ups and downs of his rise to fame. “It will feel scary, like you’re alone but you’re not,” the singer added. He goes on to describe the arrival of his son, Bear, as a turning point in his life, calling him the “most amazing person” he’s ever met. “Don’t doubt yourself,” he wrote to himself about fatherhood and pursuing his solo career. The “Teardrops” singer died on Oct. 16 after falling from his hotel balcony in Argentina. He was 31.
