Lea Michele Remembers Cory Monteith On 10th Anniversary Of His Death

Lea Michele paid tribute to Cory Monteith on the 10-year anniversary of his death. “Hey you. 10 years. It feels like only yesterday that you were here and yet a million years ago all at the same time. I hold all of our memories in my heart where they will stay safe and never forgotten,” she captioned her Instagram post on Thursday, alongside a throwback picture of her and her former love. Cory and Lea met on the set of “Glee” and dated from 2012 until he unexpectedly died in 2013. The “Funny Girl” star wrapped up her post by seemingly referring to the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died in March 2022. “We miss you every day and will never forget the light you to brought to us all. I miss you big guy. I hope you found Taylor up there and are playing the drums together,” she said. Cory was found dead from an overdose on July 13, 2013, at a hotel in Vancouver, Canada. He was 31 years old.
