Kristen Bell Explains Why Adam Brody Was Perfect For ‘Nobody Wants This’: ‘It Had To Be You’

Adam Brody and Kristen Bell are the perfect romantic comedy duo in “Nobody Wants This.” The Netflix series follows an agnostic sex podcaster and newly single rabbi who fall in love. While chatting with Access Hollywood, Kristen explained why Adam was perfect for the role. “I just felt like there was no one that could be as charming as Adam,” she said. “This character had to be full of charm and it had to be you, and I’m very grateful that we got him,” she told her co-star. As for why the show is a must watch. “I think because it’s a comfort,” Adam said. “You can see a lot of society and their multi-dimensional people but at the same time, I think there’s a wish fulfilment element to it and I think it goes down really nice. It’s also short and sweet,” he added. The two also recalled their first impressions of each other and reacted to throwback photos of themselves from when they starred in “The O.C.” and “Veronica Mars.” “Nobody Wants This” is streaming now on Netflix.
