King Charles Plants Tree In Buckingham Palace Garden For Cause In Honor Of Queen Elizabeth
King Charles is planting a seed for a greener future. On Friday, the monarch planted a lime tree in the Buckingham Palace Garden for the Queen’s Green Canopy, a nationwide initiative launched last year in honor of the late Queen Elizabeth and her Platinum Jubilee. The King planted his tree right after he held a high-profile reception at the palace for world leaders ahead of COP27, the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference.
