Kelly Ripa’s Husband Mark Consuelos Explains Why She Was Missing from ‘Live!’
On the Nov. 29 episode of “Live! with Kelly and Mark,” Kelly was noticeably missing from her show. Her husband and co-host, Mark Consuelos explained to their guest co-host for the day Déjà Vu why she was out. “Yesterday you could tell she was losing her voice a little bit – it’s gone, it’s lost,” he revealed. Déjà Vu then asked if she would “ok,” to which Mark responded: “Yeah, she’s gonna feel better, she’s just resting a little bit. I’m sure she’ll feel better soon.” Déjà Vu then joked with Mark about knowing what Kelly does to him when he gets sick, but she and the audience were curious what happens in the Ripa-Consuelos household when their matriarch is sick. Mark and Kelly met on the soap opera “All My Children” in 1995 and got married in 1996. Since then, they welcomed three kids together, 26-year-old son Michael, 22-year-old daughter Lola and 20-year-old son Joaquin. The duo became co-workers again in April 2023 when Mark took over for Ryan Seacrest as her “Live!” co-host.
