Kelly Clarkson Shares Honest Update About Her Current Dating Status After Brandon Blackstock Divorce

Kelly Clarkson is open to finding new love, but it’s not exactly at the top of her list! The 41-year-old singer stopped by “Today” on Thursday to chat with Carson Daly and Hoda Kotb and she opened up about her current dating status. “I’m not in a bitter place. I love love. I know I have a song on the album called ‘I Hate Love.’ It’s a moment. I wrote about it. Whatever. But, I love love. I’m not closed off, but I’m just not looking at all either,” she revealed. Kelly’s dating update comes amid the release of her new album “Chemistry” which will feature 14 songs and it is rumored to have many tracks inspired by her recent divorce from Brandon Blackstock. The former couple co-parent their two children, 9-year-old River and 7-year-old Remington, and Hoda asked Kelly what her ex thinks of the upcoming album. “No, I don’t know if he’d care anyway,” Kelly said.
