Kelly Clarkson Gets Emotional Meeting Girl With Cancer: ‘I Did Not Fit In Either When I Was A Kid’

Kelly Clarkson brought a young fan to tears during an emotional meeting on “Today.” The “Stronger” singer embraced little Camilla who is battling cancer during an unexpected meeting while performing during the morning show on Friday. Kelly dropped to her knees to greet Camilla, who cried and held on tight to a toy version of Moxy from the cartoon movie “UglyDolls,” which the songstress voiced. “She’s my favorite character from “UglyDolls.” “I have been always trying to sing like her because — because this reminds me of me. Since I was bald when I was a kid…sometimes I feel like I’m going to get bullied,” Camilla confessed. “I did not fit in either when I was younger, and I think that’s a lot of kids out there. You’re definitely not alone. A lot of us struggle with finding like your people, you know, your friends in your school and stuff. And, hey, that happens to all of us,” Kelly said comforting her.
