Keke Palmer Stars In Usher’s Music Video After Boyfriend Darius Jackson Criticized Her Concert Outfit

Keke Palmer and Usher are collaborating with a new music video. Just weeks after relationship drama unfolded between the 29-year-old actress and her boyfriend Darius Jackson on the night she went to Usher’s Las Vegas residency, Keke is starring in the music video for the R&B singer’s latest song “Boyfriend.” On Tuesday, Usher announced the single with a teaser that he posted to his social media, which featured clips of him and Keke. The “Nope” star also posted the clip to her Instagram, and Jennifer Lopez simply commented on the hilarious post: “Savage” with a laughing face emoji. The music video comes just a few weeks after Darius received backlash for criticizing his girlfriend’s outfit, a black bodysuit with a sheer dress overlay, that she wore out. Darius took to his Twitter on July 5 and quoted a tweet that showed a video of Usher and Keke, who he shares son Leo with, and wrote: “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom.” In a second post he elaborated. “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case,” he wrote.
