Katharine McPhee and David Foster’s baby boy didn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to his musical skills! The 39-year-old “American Idol” alum took to her Instagram on Oct. 15 to share a video of their 2-year-old son Rennie crushing it on a mini drum set. Katharine even gave one of pop music’s most famous drummers a funny shoutout, captioning her adorable post, “coming for ya @travisbarker.” The proud mom isn’t the only one who noticed her son is an up-and-coming rockstar. Jenna Dewan took to the comment section to show how impressed she was, penning: “Wait this is insane!” And Amanda Kloots wrote: “Insane talent.” This isn’t the first time Katharine and her husband have posted about Rennie’s drumming skills. David took to his Instagram back in January to give fans a peek at his only son’s musical talents. Rennie is Katharine’s first child and the 73-year-old musician’s sixth, as he has five adult daughters.
